Mission

The foundation’s far reaching mission is to promote and expand awareness of board sports including skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, BMX, mountain biking, scooters, and other related activities through community-based programs, clinics, and demonstrations.

It also aims to support the development of safe and accessible recreational spaces, encourage health and wellness through active participation, and reduce barriers for underserved groups by offering scholarships, equipment donations, and outreach.

In addition, the foundation seeks to celebrate the culture and creativity tied to board sports, support research on their benefits, and promote environmental stewardship through conservation programs and eco-friendly initiatives.

Outreach efforts may include events, collaborations, and media campaigns, provided these activities further the organization’s charitable and educational mission.

Official Bylaws:

  1. To promote and expand awareness of board sports including skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding,
    as well as related activities such as BMX, mountain biking, scooters, and other ride sports, within
    communities through educational programs, clinics, and demonstrations.
  2. To support the development of safe and accessible recreational spaces, including the advocacy for public
    parks, skateparks, and other outdoor facilities.
  3. To encourage physical fitness, health, and wellness through active participation in board sports and
    related recreational activities.
  4. To foster inclusivity, diversity, and equal access by reducing barriers for underserved or
    underrepresented groups through scholarships, equipment donations, and community outreach.
  5. To celebrate the arts, culture, and creativity connected to board sports through exhibitions, events,
    performances, and other educational initiatives.
  6. To conduct and support research on the social, physical, and community benefits of board sports, and to
    share findings for the public good.
  7. To promote environmental stewardship and sustainability by organizing conservation programs,
    community cleanups, and eco-friendly initiatives tied to outdoor recreation.
  8. To engage in outreach and promotional activities, including but not limited to marketing initiatives,
    social media campaigns, videography, publications, and other educational media, provided these
    activities advance the corporation’s charitable and educational mission.
